Crowded categories count for less.Shared parts5%Distinctive parts both public maps hold. Parts nearly every map holds count for nothing.Size & region5%Same country, a similar head-count band and the same business model, where both are known.

Weights are re-scaled to 100%. A component not known for both is left out and the rest re-weighted for that organization. When either has no description of its own, the fit stays at 60% or less.

What the % means

With the default weights, calibrated on a judged set of organizations across sectors: at 85% and above nearly every match is a direct peer, 70 to 85 close, 60 to 70 related. A profile lists 65% and above; this ranking goes down to 40%.

It is not a quality rating. Only public registry data counts: public descriptions and records, the atlas taxonomy, Wikidata, and open parts of public maps. Never a workspace's private data.
